Why this matters to me

I've spent 39 years in automotive retail, and I've watched every major shift in this business reward the stores with deep pockets first. AI is shaping up the same way. The cost, the complexity, and the jargon are keeping smaller operators on the sidelines while the big groups pull ahead.

I don't think that's right. AI should be a level playing field, not a widening gap. The single point stores and small businesses that keep local economies running deserve access to the same edge, and they deserve it explained in plain English by someone who has actually sat in their chair.

What I pledge

• Keep the door open. I price my work so smaller stores can afford real help, not just the large groups. My rates and what they cover are published right on my site.
• Teach for free where I can. I share practical guidance, frameworks, and straight answers through my content so owners and managers can get started even if they never hire me.
• No jargon, no gatekeeping. I explain AI in plain language that assumes no technical background. If you can run a store, you can understand what I'm telling you.
• Put people first. I only coach and recommend AI that makes good people faster, sharper, and more valuable. I will never help a business use AI to cut corners on its customers or gut its team.
• Push responsible use. Everything I recommend has to be transparent with customers, honest in how it works, and respectful of people's privacy.
• Hold myself to it. I'll review this pledge every year and update this page with honest progress, including where I fell short.
